ドレスコードの意義

スティールダーツの試合にはプロアマ問わず参加者に対してドレスコードがあります。
ドレスコードとは服装規定のことです。
試合に参加するにあたって「この試合はこういう服装が決まりになります」という服装のルールです。
最近スティール界では各団体がこのドレスコードをもう少し守るようにしていきましょうという動きが出てきています。

ドレスコードは試合要綱に必ず書いてあります。
参加する試合の要綱を確認しない人が多いようです。
知りませんでしたというのは論外です。
出場する試合の日時、会場を調べるのと同じように、ルールとドレスコードもチェックしましょう。

今月末に行われるJSFDジャパンオープンのドレスコードは以下の通りです。

みなさんユニフォームは立派なものを持っていらっしゃるかたがほとんど。
問題は腰から下です。
折り目のあるスラックスです。
ジーズンはもってのほか、チノパンもダメです。色は濃い単色です。

フォーマルなズボンの簡単な見分け方は、まず後ろポケットです。
外側にポケットが縫い付けされているものはカジュアルパンツです。
スラックスと呼ばれるものはポケットが内側についいます。

そして前ポケットの形も違います。
横向きや写真のようにカーブして手が入りやすくなっているものはカジュアルなズボンになります。
スラックス指定のドレスコードではダメになります。
縦にポケットが切ってあるものにしましょう。
とにかくスティールダーツ始めよう！試合に出よう！ってなったらダーツよりも先にスラックスを購入しましょう。
うちの店の近くにあるSEIYUなら3,000〜5,000円で良いものがたくさん売ってます。

次に靴。
靴は試合によって色や形などが指定されているものもありますが、現在の国内スティールトーナメントは靴に関してはかなり自由です。
革靴でも運動靴でもOK、色も制限がないことがほとんどです。
一応試合によって違いがありますので要項を確認しましょう。
言うまでもありませんがサンダル、クロックス等は禁止です。
試合だけでなく店舗でもスティールを投げるときはできるだけサンダルは避けるようにしましょう。
スティールダーツの先端は鉄の針ですので、肌のむき出しはとても危険です。

PDCアジアンツアーはユニフォームもスラックスも靴もすべてドレスコードで細かく指定されています。
昨年のマカオで今後はドレスコードを厳しくしていくとのアナウンスがされて以来かなりきっちりしています。
ユニフォームのロゴに関してはかなり厳しいです。
靴も革靴や運動靴など種類はなんでもOKですが、色は黒のみとなっています。
知らないで会場にきて、慌てて買いに行くという選手を結構見かけました。
試合のエントリー受付時にドレスコードチェックがあり、違反していると買いにいかされたり、場合によっては失格となり試合に出られません。

こちらはSEIGO ASADAの身だしなみ さすがです！

ドレスコード規定に関して思うことは、主催者がきちんと管理できるかだと思います。
アジアンツアーは守れない人は失格です。とてもルールに厳しいです。
先日も試合中に禁止されているアルコールを飲んだ選手をすぐにその場で失格にしました。
これは他の選手にとってとても安心できることなんです。

ところが国内の主催団体はドレスコードをうたっておきながら、ドレスコード違反をしているものに対して何もしません。見て見ぬ振りをする。
これって他のドレスコードを守っているプレイヤーからしてみると、とても憤りを感じます。
ドレスコード違反者には、すぐに代わりのものを用意させて着替えてもらうか、それができない場合は失格にするという処置をしてほしいと切に願います。
主催者側としてそれができないならドレスコードなんて無くすべきです。ジーパンでもOKにすればいい。

ビリヤードのプロが言ってました。
参加者がきちんとしたドレスコードでプレイすることでその試合の格式が維持され、選手の意識も高くなるので、行いも自然とよくなる、プレイの質もあがる。だからドレスコードって大切って。

先日JDO兵庫大会（30周年記念大会）に参加しました。
JDOはいまドレスコードを守るということに力を入れていると副議長が毎回開会式でおっしゃってます。
なのにジーパンの参加者がいらっしゃいました。ひとりじゃありません。
ダブルスはまだいいとしても、シングルスは失格にするべきだと自分は思いました。
そしてJDOという団体は16の都府県にある団体からなりたっています。
参加選手は必ずどこかの都府県DOに所属しています。
一般参加だとしてもどこかのDOからのエントリーになっています。
なのでドレスコード違反はその選手だけでなく該当DOの責任でもあります。

自分は愛媛DOに所属していますが、昨年末に愛媛DOから通達メールが来ました。
今後JDOでドレスコードが厳しくなるという話、一般の方と出るときはそのことをきちんと伝えるようにというお達しです。
ドレスコードの重要性と遵守の大切さに関して愛媛DOとしての考えが各会員にしっかり伝えられていました。
なので自分もJDOに加盟していない一般の方とペアを組むときはドレスコードのことをきちんと説明して必ず守るように説明するようにしています。
そういうこともあり愛媛DOの参加者はみんなドレスコード守っています。
みんなキリっとしていて、会場で見るととても誇らしく思います。

自分が加盟している団体というだけじゃなく、ダーツカフェ ドリズから参戦している選手、常連さんたちもきっとドレスコードはちゃんと守ってくれているはずです。
ほんと日頃からうるさいくらいドレスコードに関しては言ってますからね。
「スティールダーツ買うくらいなら、そこのSEIYU行ってスラックス買え！」って w

そして最後に苦言です。
JDO兵庫 30周年記念大会のファイナリストのひとりがジーパンだったことに関して。
ネット中継があるのになぜ主催側は配慮しなかったのか、、。
その選手は前日のJDOマスターズもジーパンでした。
事前に注意できたし、最悪決勝前に着替えを用意できたんじゃないかと思います。
もうJDOはドレスコードに力入れてるなんて言えないです。
ドレスコード守れない、注意しないJDOに正直がっかりしました。
日頃から「JDOはドレスコード厳しくなってるよ」って促してる自分が馬鹿らしく思えた。

ドレスコードを守らない選手もよくないけれど、同じ所属DOの人やまわりの選手はどうおもってるのだろう。
そしてなによりも見て見ぬふりをする運営が一番ダメ！
何も対応しないことが信じられなかった。
ドレスコードを守れっていっておきながらのスルーは無責任すぎる。
もういっそのことドレスコード厳しくするなんてこと言うのはやめてJDOはジーパンでもなんでも気軽に参加していいよー！にしたらいいと思いました。

やるなら徹底的にやる！ できないならやらない！

ほんと7年ぐらい前からドレスコードのことはブログで書いてるけど、いまだにこんな現状であることを情けなく感じて今回またこの投稿書きました。

ダーツが上手い下手とか以前の問題。
服装ルール守りましょう。

誰かが言わなきゃ変わらないから自分が言いました。
信頼しているからこそ改善してほしいという気持ちを込めて言いました。
