世界のダーツシーンでダーツの公式ルールブックとして採用されているのがDRA（ダーツレギュレーションオーソリティー）です。

DRAという組織はイギリスのNPO法人でダーツをスポーツシーンにおいて良好な統治システムで守られるために存在しています。
DRAの目的はプロフェッショナル、アマチュアを問わずダーツのイメージと認識を向上させるためのルールと規律を管理しています。
このDRAのルールブックはPDCやBDOという世界トップ団体でも採用されているほか、WDFなどの国際的なダーツシーンで採用されているルールブックです。
このDRAはルールだけでなく規律に関しても管理を行う第三機関で昨年末のPDCグランドスラム大会決勝でガーウィン・プライスの試合中の異常なまでのアクションに対し、PDCがDRA審査を依頼し、執行猶予つきではあるものの、日本円にして300万円の罰金と7ヶ月の出場停止という裁定をプライスに下したのもDRAです。
ルールと規律に関して世界のダーツシーンで絶対的な権限を持っているのがDRAなのです。
そのDRAが作ったルールブックが世界のダーツトーナメントで採用されているのはすでに書きましたが、日本ではPDJが主催する大会だけがこのDRAルールを採用しています。
日本のスティールダーツシーンでは共通のルールブックが存在しません。
試合ごとに違ったり、団体ごとにルールが違うという現状です。
これは日本スティールダーツ界として絶対に統一しなければいけない案件です。
一番良いのが日本もこのDRAルールを採用することです。
ところがこのDRAルールブックの日本語訳がなかなか作られませんでした。
細かくいうと水面下では作られていたりしましたが、それが表にでることはこれまでほとんどありませんでした。
今後のダーツ界のためにはどうしても自由に閲覧できて、使用制限のないDRAルールブック日本語版が必要ということで2018年11月1日にDRA日本語翻訳プロジェクトを立ち上げました。
有志で集まった協力者とともに日本語訳の制作は始まりました。
本来の意味を変えずにダーツプレイヤー誰がみても理解できる内容で表記するのはとても難しい作業だったと思いますが、プロジェクトチームのみんながとても頑張ってくれました。
本日、プロジェクトチームから完成したDRAルールブック日本語訳があがってきましたので一般公開させていただきます。
